Decored’s abaca wallpaper collection is made from mighty abaca - the world’s strongest natural fibre. This is a highly renewable material and is widely grown in Southeast Asia. The process we employ to create this collection is truly unprecedented.
The abaca fabric is woven by hand to our design specification by the women of the Philippines using traditional methods dating back to the 16th century. The woven fabric is then sent to France where Lyonnais textile design and innovative printing techniques are applied to transform the fabric into a modern elegant product.
The result is exquisite handmade textile wallpaper.
